Well, we thought it was all over… but apparently VAR had other ideas.
This week’s answers were:
1. Colchester United 2. 2004 3. Football League Second Division Championship
Martin Oram was quickest out of the blocks, getting all three answers correct and takes the full three points.
Gary Searl and Deane Hyland appeared to have done rather well too, until a lengthy VAR review found they had cut and pasted Martin’s answers. Both have therefore been docked points for blatant Nostalgia League skulduggery.
That means Scott Wardle is awarded two points for getting all three answers correct, while Gary and Deane escape with one point each.
There was also a special bonus point this week for an answer that went beyond anything we actually asked.
That goes to former Argyle striker Michael Evans, who knows the photograph rather well because he is underneath the pile of bodies.
Michael pointed out that the celebrations actually took place before the Colchester game. Argyle had already secured the Second Division Championship and Michael had been named Player of the Season. For information above and beyond the call of duty, he gets a bonus point.

And after all that, we have a problem.
The Green Light Nostalgia League finishes with Scott Wardle, Martin Oram and Gary Searl all tied at the top on five points.
So, gentlemen, the choice is yours.
Do we declare a three way draw… or do the three of you want to come back next Saturday for a Green Light Nostalgia League tiebreaker?
