A blue Ford S-Max was discovered crashed at the bottom of a steep slope in woodland just outside Tamerton Foliot this morning
The vehicle was found down a steep wooded embankment at around midday, having apparently left the road and come to rest among the trees.
The circumstances surrounding how the car ended up in the woodland are not currently known.
There is currently no confirmed information about whether anyone was inside the vehicle or whether anyone was injured.
The incident is understood to have happened in the Tamerton Foliot area, with the vehicle left in a difficult position for recovery.
