A section of North Hill in Plymouth has been sealed off this evening as police deal with an ongoing incident.

At least six or seven police vehicles are at the scene, with officers working inside the cordon.

A bus is also currently within the sealed area.

The nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed, but the size of the police response suggests it is being treated seriously.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area while the cordon remains in place.
