A major night of boxing is coming to Plymouth Albion on Saturday, April 18th, 2026, and it’s already sold out three months in advance.
The event, Civil War, features experienced fighters, established local gyms, and a headline bout with real stakes.
The main fight sees Damon Ware vs Josh King, two of Plymouth’s most active boxers. Between them, they have more than 150 bouts across amateur, professional, and white-collar boxing. Josh King has more fights than any other boxer currently competing in Plymouth.
Both fighters hold three titles each, and their clash at Civil War will be for the TFC title, giving the bout clear significance beyond a one-off contest.
The scale of the night has drawn strong interest locally, with organisers saying it is bigger than any show not professional previously held in the city. Hosting the event at Plymouth Albion places it on one of Plymouth’s largest sporting stages.
With a sold-out crowd expected and a title on the line, Civil War represents a significant moment for Plymouth’s boxing scene.
