Plymouth city centre was transformed into an open-air wrestling arena today as REACH Wrestling brought a free afternoon of live professional wrestling to the high street.

Organised in partnership with Plymouth City Council, the event attracted crowds of shoppers and wrestling fans, with plenty of support for the local stars on the card.
Plymouth’s own “Rockshow” James Albion and Matt Sparx were among those in action, alongside CPW Heavyweight Champion Big Sam, Kain Chambers, Johnny Xtra and Johnny Bates.

Today’s event is the latest highlight of a busy year for the Devon-based promotion, which has staged events at venues including Plymouth Argyle and Boringdon Park.
REACH Wrestling thanked Plymouth City Council for the opportunity, saying it hoped to return with “something even bigger and more special” in the future.
