A major fire has destroyed two homes on Greenbank Road in Plymouth, prompting a large-scale response from the emergency services.
Firefighters remain at the scene opposite Aldi and Greenbank Fire Station, where crews have been tackling the blaze. Police have also closed roads around Greenbank Road to allow emergency services to work safely.
The fire has caused extensive damage, with two properties understood to have been destroyed.
At this stage, there have been no reports of any injuries.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area while the incident is ongoing, as significant road closures are in place and disruption is expected.
The cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed.
