Plymouth, a city with a proud military history, celebrates Armed Forces Day
Families enjoyed a packed programme of activities throughout the day, with children throwing themselves into the Royal Navy field gun challenge, visitors getting hands-on with military equipment, and displays giving people the chance to learn more about the work of the Armed Forces. The event created a lively atmosphere across the Hoe, with people of all ages making the most of the sunshine and entertainment.
Among those attending was Plymouth Sutton and Devonport MP Luke Pollard, who spent time meeting visitors and chatting with exhibitors as he toured the event.
