More than 60 Mongols Motorcycle Club members gather on Plymouth Barbican during annual ride
Visitors to Plymouth’s Barbican were treated to an unusual sight on Saturday as more than 60 members of the Mongols Motorcycle Club gathered on the historic waterfront during what participants described as their annual ride.
Motorcycles lined the area as riders spent the afternoon chatting, enjoying drinks and making the most of the sunshine. A member told Plymouth Post there was no single meeting point, with riders gradually joining the group as they travelled south before arriving in Plymouth together.
The gathering featured members wearing patches representing chapters from different locations, including California, Virginia, Germany and Australia, highlighting the club’s international presence.
The scene had the feel of a film set as dozens of distinctive motorcycles and leather-clad riders filled part of the Barbican, creating a striking spectacle on a sunny afternoon.
