An 18 year old motorcyclist was injured in a serious collision which closed the A38 near Plymouth yesterday evening.
Police said the collision involved a white and blue Suzuki motorcycle and a white Mini Cooper on the approach to Marsh Mills at around 5.30pm on Wednesday, September 16.
The motorcyclist, an 18 year old local man, suffered injuries which are not believed to be life threatening or life changing. His family has been informed.
The driver of the Mini was uninjured and remained at the scene to assist police.
The Devon Air Ambulance attended and the road was closed for around an hour while paramedics treated the motorcyclist and officers carried out an initial investigation.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, saw the motorcycle beforehand, or has relevant dashcam or CCTV footage and has not already spoken to officers to come forward.
