Plymouth Albion have unveiled their new 2026/27 playing kits with two very different designs showcased against one of the city’s most recognisable backdrops.
Players Chris Preen and Liam Bishop were joined at Tinside Lido on Plymouth Hoe for the launch photoshoot, giving the new strips a distinctly Plymouth setting.
There is a strong nod to Albion’s past in the home shirt.

The traditional white, cherry and green hoops remain at the heart of the design, giving the shirt an unmistakably Albion look while bringing the familiar colours into a modern style.
The away strip takes a very different approach.

Orange and blue dominate the design, reflecting the colours of the club’s principal partner and giving Albion a much bolder look when they head on the road.
Liam Bishop modelled the new away shirt during the shoot, while Chris Preen wore the traditional home colours.
The setting provided an unusual backdrop for a rugby kit launch, with the famous Art Deco Tinside Lido and Plymouth Hoe featuring prominently in the photographs.
It also gives the new season’s images a strong connection to the city the club represents.
Albion’s new kit has been produced by Mako and will make its competitive debut when Plymouth travel to Rosslyn Park on Saturday, September 5, for the opening game of the National 1 season.
Supporters will have to wait a little longer to see the new shirts at Brickfields, with Sheffield due to provide the opposition in Albion’s first home league fixture on Saturday, September 19.
Replica versions of both the home and away shirts are also being made available to supporters ahead of the new season.
One shirt keeps Albion’s traditional identity firmly in view.
The other is a much more adventurous departure.
Both will soon be taking their place on the pitch as Plymouth Albion begin their 2026/27 campaign.
