Green Light | 10 Year Old Fan Delighted

14 April 2026

A young Argyle fan enjoyed a day to remember at Home Park as he headed out with his dad to collect autographs from some of his favourite players.

Ten-year-old Jake Wadge made the most of the opportunity, picking up signatures from Jack McKenzie and Brendan Wiredu, two of his favourites from the day.

But he’s already looking ahead, with Bim Pepple and Tolaj at the top of his list of players he’d love to meet next.

It’s moments like these that show what football is all about. For many fans, those early trips to the ground with family, collecting autographs and soaking up the atmosphere, become memories that last a lifetime.

It’s something I can relate to myself. At that same age, I used to go to Argyle with my dad and try to get autographs after the final whistle. I still remember running onto the pitch before a Watney Cup game to get Gordon Banks’ autograph, the Stoke City fans cheered as I went over. It’s one of those moments that’s stayed with me ever since.

Great to see young fans like Jake making their own memories at Home Park.
