Car crashes into lamppost on busy Plymouth road

A car has crashed into a lamppost on Queens Road, near the junction with Kensington Road in the Greenbank area of Plymouth.

Emergency services attended the scene after the vehicle left the road and collided with the streetlight, leaving the lamppost leaning heavily and appearing close to collapsing.

One man was being treated by ambulance crews at the scene. His condition has not been confirmed.

Police were also in attendance while the incident was dealt with. The cause of the collision has not yet been established.
