A major route through Plymouth was blocked this afternoon following a road traffic collision.
Police cordoned off Outland Road, with the road blocked from the Milehouse area towards Peverell while emergency services dealt with the incident.
The closure caused significant traffic disruption, with queues stretching from the area around the Britannia Inn back towards Pennycomequick roundabout.
Police and ambulance crews were seen at the scene.
The extent of any injuries, if any, is not currently known and the circumstances surrounding the collision have yet to be confirmed.
